For those of you who are long timers in the Thursday Sing Thing group and remember Caitlin from the years when she sang with us in Sing Thing and in Summer Sing, you’ll be happy to hear that she has decided to settle down in Seattle with her new husband, Sam Potter. Caitlin has done some amazing things in her life. She was an early on volunteer with Jane Goodall’s Roots and Shoots and spent time volunteering at the Oakland Zoo. She went to Costa Rica as a school girl to investigate the rain forests there and most recently she maintained a blog when she was studying the small troop of Gelada monkeys in Ethiopia. She hiked the Pacific Coast Trail and is an ardent outdoor person. She sings and she dances very well. Her proud mom, Kathy Kenworthy is the quilter who arranged for and put together the wonderful Sing Thing quilts and still sings with us every Thursday. Congratulations to Caitlin & Sam and to their families.
