A young couple that was in Sing Thing Albany for 2 years made a documentary that was an Academy Award nominee in 2011. It is adult subject matter and concerns the unfair trial and incarceration of an innocent street vendor picked up off the street for murder. The film makers are lawyers who became involved in his case and the film is riveting. You will care about how it comes out as you follow him, his wife, his supporters his lawyers, the court through the case and it’s appeals.
